Lauren joined FoodMix two months ago and is already making waves managing timelines, writing briefs, and building client relationships. As a student at DePaul University, she was president of the advertising club. Her passion for advertising led to internships at Leo Burnett and a Swiss marketing agency. Her secret? Curiosity, research, and a love for detail. 

Growing up in Elmhurst, Lauren was obsessed with ads. Now at FoodMix, she gets to combine creativity and strategy every day. Off the clock, she’s either planning adventures (she’s studied in Singapore and Spain!) or enjoying her favorite foods – enchiladas verdes at Primos Locos or hot pot at Happy Lamb in Chinatown. Although Lauren loves food, she says that the experience of eating together with friends and family is just as important as how the food tastes, and it’s that philosophy that has come to define how she rates her most favorite meals. 

An avid reader (26 books this year) and bowling ace (200+ average!), Lauren even met her boyfriend through the sport. As she looks forward to a full year at FoodMix and trips to Colorado, you’ll find her at home whipping up her grandma’s legendary pasta.
